PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Derrick White scored 14 of his 27 factors within the fourth quarter to steer the Boston Celtics to a 117-107 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday evening in a matchup of the early pacesetters within the Japanese Convention.

Jayson Tatum scored a game-high 29 factors and Jrue Vacation added 18 factors, 10 rebounds and three assists for the Celtics (9-2), who had been lacking Jaylen Brown (non-COVID sickness) and Kristaps Porzingis (proper knee contusion).

Philadelphia (8-3), enjoying its second sport in a back-to-back and third sport in 4 nights, bought 20 factors apiece from Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey. That whole was nicely beneath the season scoring common for each.

Sam Hauser and Al Horford took the locations of Brown and Porzingis within the beginning lineup and had productive moments, with Horford scoring 14 factors and offering a giant block of a driving layup by Maxey that ended with White hitting a backbreaking 3-pointer with 4:47 left that prolonged the Celtics’ result in seven factors. Horford was 4 for 8 from past the 3-point line for a Celtics staff that constructed its result in 17 factors at one level within the sport.

The Sixers performed many of the evening with drained legs and struggled to regulate defensively because the Celtics whipped the ball round.

Embiid was a minus-25 in his 34 minutes on the ground. Within the second half, Philadelphia’s high-powered offense was held to only 49 factors.
