GoFundMe launched for household of Mass. mom who drowned saving son

A GoFundMe has been launched for the household of a 44-year-old girl who drowned whereas saving her son from the present of a New Hampshire waterfall on Tuesday. 

Melissa Bagley of Lynn was a part of a household of six mountaineering at Franconia Falls with a household buddy when Bagley’s 10-year-old son fell into the water, in line with New Hampshire State Police. Police mentioned Bagley jumped in to attempt to pull the kid from the present.

Two of Bagley’s different kids jumped in to assist their mom and brother, in line with police. The ten-year-old was finally freed, however Bagley finally drowned and couldn’t be resuscitated, police mentioned.

The GoFundMe for the household, organized by Alison Frazee, was launched on Wednesday. The funds are being raised to “present solace,” to the Bagely household, in line with the GoFundMe.  

“All through her life, Melissa’s best achievement was her position as a mom, a aspect that outlined her above all else,” the GoFundMe reads.

“Melissa exemplified the epitome of selflessness, by making the final word sacrifice for her household. Left within the wake of her departure is her loving husband and 4 lovely kids who will now have to study to navigate life with out her.”

Inside 24 hours, donations for the Bagely household reached $49,000 of their $75,000 aim.
