Postal employee hospitalized after being attacked in Medford

Authorities are investigating after a mail service was attacked and severely injured Tuesday morning in Medford. 

Medford police mentioned officers responded about 11:40 a.m. to a 911 name reporting the assault within the space of Arden Highway at Winthrop Avenue. On the scene they discovered a United States Postal Service letter service, affected by obvious facial accidents, who informed officers he was assaulted by three people whereas on his route. The suspects allegedly took a submit workplace key from the postal employee after which fled towards Playstead Highway to a ready car. 

The letter service was taken to the hospital with severe accidents.

Police mentioned the suspect car was later situated in Lowell and a lot of folks in it have been recognized. No arrests have been made, however police mentioned the investigation, which is being undertaken along side america Postal Inspection Service, stays “extraordinarily fluid and ongoing.”
