The autumn Nielsen Audio scores interval was an unusually turbulent one for 98.5 The Sports activities Hub.

Unique morning present co-host Wealthy Shertenlieb abruptly left the “Toucher and Wealthy” program on Nov. 9, with practically a month remaining within the scores e-book.

It was the primary time since February 2015, when Marc Bertrand changed Andy Gresh on the station’s noon present, that one of many essential hosts from a Sports activities Hub daytime program modified.

However the Sports activities Hub’s future of scores success didn’t change.

Within the fall Nielsen Audio scores, protecting the interval from Sept. 14 to Dec. 6, the Sports activities Hub completed first total and throughout all of its weekday and weeknight programming within the males ages 25 to 54 demographic, its major promoting goal.

Total, the Sports activities Hub had a 16.3 share, effectively forward of the runner-up, rock station WZLX (7.0). Rival sports activities radio station WEEI was seventh (4.4).

Final fall, the Sports activities Hub earned a 19.6 share, whereas WEEI was second at 9.0.

The breakdown this fall by day components:

Morning drive (6-10 a.m.): “Toucher and Wealthy” – or unofficially “Toucher and pals” after Shertenlieb left and earlier than Rob “Hardy” Poole was confirmed as the brand new co-host starting January 4 – took first with a 17.1 share. WEEI’s “The Greg Hill Present” was second with a ten.2, simply the station’s highest-rated present.

Middays (10 a.m.-2 p.m.): The Sports activities Hub’s “Zolak and Bertrand” present was tops with a 16.7 share.  WEEI’s “Gresh and Fauria” present tied for sixth with a 3.8 share.

Afternoon drive (2-6 p.m.): “Felger and Massarotti” continued its future of dominance for the Sports activities Hub, ending the No. 1 spot with a 20.1 share. WEEI’s “Jones and Mego” tied for twelfth with a 2.6.

Evenings (6-11 p.m.): The Sports activities Hub, which has Bruins and a few Celtics broadcasts together with a present hosted by Joe Murray at night time, completed first (12.2). WEEI, which options “The Wealthy Keefe Present,’’ tied for thirteenth (2.8).
